I'd also like to point out that dressing up as a person (e.g., Rosa Parks, Gandhi) is not racism or appropriation.  Dressing up as an ethnicity or culture (e.g., "Thug," "Mexican") is.

Finished replaying Professor Layton and the Curious Village. Fun game, even if it did give me an undying hatred for sliding block puzzles.

A game that lets you potentially harm a child?  Jesus Christ, if we keep this up, we might be back to 1997 levels of freedom by the time I hit 30.

Well, not quite. You can tranq the Child Soldiers, and knock them out in CQC, but if you shoot them with a lethal weapon you get an instant mission failure. I pack a tranq sniper rifle if the mission description makes it know, if not I call one down from motherbase

Still, the fact you can do a child harm in a video game is a sight for sore eyes.  I still remember the time I (accidentally) blew a child to pieces with a grenade in Fallout.  For some reason, the people in the town took offense to that...

Having child soldiers in the game that has mercenaries fighting in Africa is among the more realistic parts of the game.

And the "horrors of war" seem to be a major theme so it fits that as well.

Yeah, if the pagans are so smart, why did Jesus invade Pagan-land on the back of a dragon and kill them all!
