The MechaUpdate is on the horizon.

I'm going to give Valve a soldier salute for making an All Your Base reference even after it's been long dead.

No, I don't care that it's fucking overused, I still love it :D

I downloaded Hearthfire and Dragonborn for Skyrim and started replaying.  I'm thinking of starting over though with a Sith-like character, though with Destruction and Conjuration as my two main skills.

After playing Fallout 2, I'd forgotten just how much Fallout 3 hands out S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points like candy. You can get one to two points from common outfits, certain chems will give you around 10 (albeit temporarily) and let's just say the Intense Training perk is mucho OP. Then of course, there's the bobbleheads. It's still a great game, don't get me wrong, but it really lacks the feeling of S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points being really rare and precious.

Though I have to say, nothing makes you feel like a badass like taking down three raiders in a row, all with perfect shots to the head (non-VATS) from the hunting rifle. I really do love the hunting rifle.

Oh, and I hereby swear that I will be collecting each and every fucking bobblehead if its the last thing I do. I don't care how many copy-paste subway stations/building interiors I have to crawl through.

Okay, the first horse chase in AC3 was god-awful. The optional requirement, to shoot all powder carts, is pretty much impossible due to the mechanics- your character will occasionally not fire his gun for some unfathomable reason while you ride, and if you slow down to shoot you lose your chase target. On top of that, the gun takes forever to reload because it's a flintlock, so if you miss or he targets a random enemy instead, you're bit going to get it in time to keep up the chase. I'm loving the game, but that part was abysmal.

It seemed to me that most of the optionals were needlessly abstract compared to AC:Rev. I've completed the game but had no real inclination to go back and get 100% sync.

Is there any good reward this time around? I'm on the first mission with the boat ship, and the game's improved dramatically. I'm loving the plot and the characters, the progression feels great, and most, if not all, of the challenges are going great.

The Red Turn DLC for Unity of Command is bloody fun, but a little easy IMO.

After more time than I'm proud to admit, I finally got a good Extreme Speed Zigzagoon in Pokemon. Dammit, I shouldn't have had that many issues with it.

Oh, and on another note, finally got hold of Megaman ZX Advent. Been looking for that game for years.

My new favorite is still Imposter Ditto.  Equip him with a Choice Scarf and he pwns nearly everyone in his path.

I need to go back through my backlog it seems. I'm rather bad at not completing at least the campaign of most games I have.

So, Fallen Enchantress isn't bad at all. I've got a mounted army of doom, I'm still getting my ass whooped by the legendary forces that have ripped apart the world. I'm leaving a serious fucking dent though!

I have to say, in Fallout 3 having your weapon in perfect condition makes a huge difference to its effectiveness. Ol' Painless is able to reliably bring down a super mutant from a good 100 metres away and my trusty railway rifle can completely eviscerate three Talon Company mercs before they can even put a scratch in my total hit points.

I must say, it really is a beautiful thing.
