Not so much a "dream," rather a "nightmare" (because I woke up from it, as if I've killed at the split second).
The first part, I was checking out some used-game store. I was not an impressive store like one miles from me but a crappy one, much worse than a mediocre, disappointing store I've visited in College Station. I've had a couple of dreams where I discover a goldmine or stash of games, and often the stash is either exciting or disappointing, and this was one of those dreams where I found a crappy collection.
Part two, and I don't know how I got there; I was on a mission with a man who reminded me of Deckard from Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?/Blade Runner (or Gilliam, an expy from Snatcher) and other men and women and we were on a mission in a semi-apocalyptic environment to stop a nuclear missile from being launched (I don't know why when almost every inch of life is already dead and seemingly radioactive). We practically were far from our destination and we've raced to get there, despite pitfalls and roadblocks on the way. Since I was incompetent, I've screwed my team over to where we were dead close to the deadline. By the time we arrived, it was just me and that "Deckard" lookalike and we were trying to find the signal to hijack the operation. Since were were so close to the last minute and the code was so specific (it was an article from old magazines covering the original book of A Clockwork Orange) and I foundered and panicked to where it angered my leader. The final thing I tried before the countdown was to obtain an audiobook of the correct issue of the magazine, but when I requested it, the woman on the phone just gave us some elevator music. Just when the countdown was starting, expy Deckard and I ran to a room to take cover. I tried to bring the phone with me as the missile has already launched off and just before I could take cover... I woke up. I was presumably killed or some inconvenient interruption stopped me from seeing what happens next, like a cliffhanger on a series that got cancelled afterwards.
And yes, my nerves were frazzled. It was around 4:00 or so in the morning when I woke up.
