Aren't student council elections typically treated as popularity contests by the student body anyway?

I don't think middle school students are the most politically conscious people, even if they're from San Francisco.  They just want to know who won the contest, er I mean election.

Besides, the student council really doesn't do anything in terms of actual school board decisions.

It's not about the student council, of course. It's about having every goddamned thing be a battleground for the culture wars.

  • And here we go...
At least the student council I am part of understands diversity: we have two criminals, an irish alcoholic, an Indian Muslim, an ethnic fellow, and a tranny. This school needs a better political machine.
Does anyone take Donald Trump seriously, anymore?
