Believe it or not, the original Let's Plays as they originated in Something Awful were text and screenshots (and in some cases drawn pictures), not voice and video.

Dwarf Fortress has to use this style because the game's nature is not conducive to video and voice.

If I were a superhero, I'd never try to maintain a secret identity. If I was lucky, I'd do what Stark did. More likely, my "normal" life would disappear, and my superhero identity would become my only identity.

Of course, I'd start recruiting allies so I wouldn't go crazy from isolation.
