TL:DR
The Arizona Republican Party's second-in-command resigned over the weekend after he called for the forced sterilization of women as a requirement for receiving public aid.
And now for the long form:
http://thewest.gawker.com/arizona-gop-second-in-command-sterilize-women-who-rece-1635222651/+laceydonohueWhere does GOP draw the line? What is acceptable and what isn't in their party? Handing out Neo-nazi literature to voters? Totally kosher. Racism? Calling other Republicans sissies for not using the word "Wetback?" You only have a problem with that if you are a sissie. Forced sterilisation? NOPE! ...That is birth control and therefore
totally unacceptable!I think that the most funny/dickish part of this scandal is the way mr. Russel Totally-not-a-clone-of-Hitler Pearce announced his resignation:
By Sunday afternoon, Pearce had submitted his resignation as vice chair of the Arizona Republican Party, saying that he didn't want his comments—which he claims were "shared comments written by someone else and failed to attribute them to the author"—to be used by Democrats and the media to attack GOP candidates.
It's not that HE had said something so evil... It was something from
someone else said with him and he forgot to mention it was a quote. (Who was that other person? The ghost of Hitler? That crazy person Pearce always sees when he looks into a mirror?) Furthermore, the reason he is resigning is because those
bastards in
the Democrat party would use this against the GOP... Such evil, trying to use a man's words to make it look like he supports forced sterilisation simply because he said so... I mean how could they even come after a man like Pearce who earned his merit as the Chief Deputy Sheriff for Joe "The best damn sheriff in USA" Arpaio?
I think we can all see that the real villains here are the Democrats... (And totally not Russel "Remember when I said that Jews control the media" Pearce.)
