Worse than that is why the cat guildance system didn't work. The harness tended to break their spines due to G-forces exerted. I think about 30 seconds of thought would have brought up the fact that humans can't surive those kinds for forces and house cats are more fragile thna we are, instead, well, military budgeting being what it is.... that the damn thing got to the drawing board was galling enough. They actually tested them. Surprised anon isn't working on a time machine to resolve the issue.

Oh do me a favor and talk to people who believe in a December 7th conspiracy. They have things from there were Germans in the cockpits of the bombers, to they had submarines landing all over the coast of California.

The only thing they really get right is that a female translated a piece of correspondence that mentioned the bombing and telling Japanese spies and the like to flee and destroy their machines. As well as those in Washington. But the people in Washington ignored the translation cause it was by a female. It got re-translated by a male but by then it was too late.

I thought the cat bomb got canceled fairly quickly after the project director dropped his cat off a platform into a pool and found the cat didn't react to the model ship in the pool and he acquired several new scars.

On a semi related note, my friend has to dissect a cat as a mandatory part of one of his highschool classes. This is after earlier having to dissect pig fetuses. My science teacher has a dead, skinned cat he keeps in a freezer to use to show muscles.

The pie chart was invented as early as 1801.  Florence Nightingale was born 1820.  She was a relatively early adopter, and can likely claim a fair amount of credit for popularizing it.
