Death to the seals! (it's shark week)

I honestly think this is one of my favorite annual TV events. My biggest complaint is the amount of attack shows. Especially since the purpose is supposed to be conservation.

Coincidentally, Bowser Day lands at the start of Shark Week.  At least one artist has taken notice and has drawn Bowser as a Shark.

Maybe I'm weird. I turn off all the attack shows, unless the survivors are advocating for leaving the sharks alone. I tend to only watch the informative ones. Though I am counting the minutes until the megalodon mockumentary.

I thought Megladon the monster lives was interesting, well until I read it was all made up.  Sharkzilla was better, and I always enjoy the Mythbusters episodes.

The megalodon one was billed much the same as the AP mermaid special. They threw a bunch of real facts (there actually is a megalodon tooth that is argued to be only ten thousand years old) in with speculation and some fiction for a better watch.

Shark After Dark has been my favorite new program. Craig Ferguson as Sean Connery explaining why you don't watch "Jaws" on acid...

Only shark week show I've watched so far is one where they were talking about Great Whites as a predator and how they hunt and hot scientists track them and stuff.  It was actually pretty interesting.
