And did you know that there actually exists a template flash game where you could place anyone's face and then make a game where you could punch that person in the face? Well guess what? There actually exists a game of that type where you could beat Anita Sarkeesian in the face. And while I stray away from essays by most feminists because often there are those special breeds who don't do the research or blow shit out of proportion, this is another woman TRYING to point out double standards in video games and in gaming circles.

I need not to mention how toxic the video game community is and how most male gamers are disrespectful to female gamers. It's like allowing girls into the playground environment and then having the boys in the playground throw rocks at them. Oh yeah, not to mention that most games are also unappealing to women or there is that trope involving women being scantly clad while men are almost fully dressed, which is just unfair and leaves a bad taste in both our mouths.

My two cents on the subject of sexism in video games, and I haven't even listed all the other tropes that brings revulsion.

Oh yeah, sexism in video games is a rather large problem. Anyone who says otherwise is either lying, stupid or has no idea what they're talking about. Need I remind everyone of that infamous Crossfire tournament a while back and how that one female player was treated, by her own team, no less? I may not agree with everything Sarkeesian says in her videos, but overall, she's absolutely right about there being just a tad too much misogyny within video games. The reaction she got just for existing kind of proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Anyway, back on topic.

Oh, yes. The Stare of Champions. I remember it well. When I was a kid, I played tennis for over ten years, seriously/obsessively. My best tennis coach was a hard assed bastard, and trained me to hate that ball, ya gotta wanna KILL that fucking ball!

This is a more effective learning tool than the old saw, "Keep your eye on the ball". That sounds, and is, boring. That does not focus your undivided concentration the way that pretending (til you reflexively believe it) that the ball is an enemy, a threat, evil and it must be killed with your racket if you are to survive (win the match).
