God dammit, even with the "For The Evulz" air that everyone who succumbs to the Dark Side gets, everyone on the Dark Side is immediately more interesting, more relatable, and more awesome than the Jedi.

We get the cool clothes and weapons (and in some works, we end up being the ONLY one with a weapon to twirl around), lots of good lines, and we're the most vital part of the plot.
