I don't lift the seat, I just stand close enough and lean in a bit. As long as you have decent aim and the tip of your schlong is past the inner rim of the seat, you shouldn't have any problem. It helps a lot if there's a cabinet above the toilet that you can put a hand on to lean against. That way you can get you wang right over the center of the bowl.

My point was more along the lines of not knowing some guys lift the seat to pee. I know it isn't something to exactly discuss but I know a bunch of guys who do and a bunch of women who bitch about it.

I know this. I've seen bloody public toilets, and I've seen public toilets with sharp broken parts and rusty, sharp broken parts, and at least one bloody, rusty, sharp broken part. I've also seen them covered in shit, piss, puke, a mix of the three, bloody puke, and things I don't even know the identity of. I do not like public toilets. I do not know where your ass has been, or where the last twenty thousand asses were.

There was one story of a woman who would lift her dress and shit in the aisles while walking, a story of a dude that used his shit like a crayon and drew all over the bathroom, and the story of a guy who after seeing something like the former got fired because he said it wasn't his job and he wasn't paid anywhere near enough to deal with it.

While we're on the subject of gross stuff in public places, how 'bout used condoms on a school bus? Someone taking a piss in the corner of a classroom?

Christ, what where are those toilets?  I've been in some pretty nasty toilets in my time but god damn.  Suddenly all those times I regretted not wearing wellington boots don't seem quite so bad.

Oh yeah, I hate public bogs too and try to avoid using them as much as possible.  I wasn't saying anything about your general repulsion at the use of such facilities, I think we all share that repulsion to at least some degree.  I was only addressing your statement about AIDS that, without the additional information you later provided, read as if you were one of those people who incorrectly believes you can contract AIDS from normal, unbroken, unbloodied public toilet seats.

As you may imagine, letting a bunch of 11 to 13-year-olds (except that one 16-year-old girl in my 8th grade math class and I'm not making this shit up) freely use toilets without supervision is only a recipe for sorrow.

I walked into the bathrooms there once. Once. As soon as I smelled it, I walked right back out and never returned.

I never used my school's toilets either.  Luckily I don't usually need to pee all that often.  Which is handy if you ever find yourself in a situation where for 12-15 hours you're wearing a complicated medieval-esque costume that you have to take off in order to piss, but it's impossible to take it off by yourself and impossible put back on by yourself...which might be irrelevant because you might not even have a chance to take a piss anyway, expecially if it takes the better part of half an hour to put the damn costume back on.

When I was a student in Norwich there was regularly a stream of piss trickling down the centre aisle of the top deck of the buses late at night.  Which means not only were people pissing on the bus, they were standing in middle of the bus to do it.  They weren't just having a sneaky piss where they were sitting, hoping noone would notice, no they were fucking well getting up out of their seat and standing literally in the middle of the fucking bus where everyone can see them.  What. The. Fuck?

Mind you this is the same city where almost everyday I left my house I'd walk past someone having an argument with themselves and which also had a well known resident gimp who used to go out during the day in his full gimp suit.  So I guess I shouldn't be suprised.
