Funny thing, since Khajiit can be broken up into many different subspecies depending on the phase of the moons they were born under (basically, genetics can go fuck themselves) it's entirely possible for there to be a talking khajiit that looks like a non-anthropomorphic cat.  Like that.

There's also a species of Khajiit that resembles a housecat and is brilliantly skilled with magic.

Khajiit are weird and probably the most interesting race in the TES series.  Even more interesting than the Argonians.

I agree in principle, but I think 17(=4 phases of 2 moons + eclipse) subspecies is a bit much. I'd prefer it if they retcon that number down a bit beforehand (it's not like TES lore isn't malleable. That list could be declared as foreign ignorance and superstition).
