Duh.

Only problem is that Little Mermaid appears to take place in the Caribbean colonies, while Tangled was a European tale. Not to mention the unlikelihood that you would be able to sail to the Caribbean and back in 2 weeks time, let alone do so with a wedding in the middle.

Except it takes place on a coral reef, Sebastian is a Jamaican Red Crab, Flounder is some sort of tropical reef fish and of course the Big Bad's lackeys are a couple of Moray Eels, which are only found in the Western Atlantic. So yeah, it's pretty safe to say that the Disney adaptation does not take place anywhere near Denmark and also I probably have way too much free time on my hands.

Well, the highest gun murder rate in the United States is so far held by D.C. at 16.5 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2010. Louisiana, Missouri, Maryland, South Carolina, Delaware (I know, right?), Michigan, and Mississippi all have higher gun murder rates than Florida. The lowest is Vermont.

Florida is also only #15 for murder rate. Which again, D.C. tops at 21.8 murders per 100,000 inhabitants.
