I didn't really get that vibe at all. To me, the woman on the right is less "consumed by rage" and more frustrated at a difficult point in what's likely a difficult game. I've been in her position myself more than once.

To me, it looks like the artist is illustrating the difference between someone who calls themselves a "gamer girl" and someone who's actually a girl gamer.

For you, maybe, but see, it's quite different for the female demographic. It's scientifically proven that when one of them plays a video game, they're either in a constant state of spittle-flecked rage, or begging for attention at every opportunity. Anyone who'd claim otherwise is a liar, a terrible person and most likely a communist sympathiser.

Well, when my wife first really got into videogames a few years ago, she started cusing like crazy at them.  Granted, she was playing games like Mario Kart and Lego Pirates.  It only got worse when I bought her a 360 last year.  I'm kind of proud to be responsible for that.
