Let's switch gears and try something different for a change. I've seen these few
Cinema Snob DVD-R Hell videos and they're hilarious! I love how he rips these productions a new one!
Here's a two-parter where he shreds
Deception Of A Generation, a 1980's "moral panic" mess involving two dorks ('Richie Rich' & 'Ron Burgundy') obsessing over kid's toys and cartoons. These two apparently live in a universe where it's perpetually 12 Noon and they hang out in toy stores like a pair of perverts at the behest of voices in their heads......
Since then, the "Mister Kotter"-looking guy has become a
James Bond-loving plastic surgery case while "Ken Doll"-guy has since become...well...a hideously disturbing-looking "Vegas Elvis"-looking thing. Very scary.
Next, we have another "Satanic Panic" mess concerning Halloween & NeoPagans, whom these two other dorks ('Snooty English Lady' & 'Old Bald Glasses Guy') conflate with horror-flick Devil Worshipers.....
Watch as Brad "Cinema Snob" Jones gets almost confounded by the female host's lovely, refined, intelligent-sounding (despite her being a frummy idiot) English accent, which threatens to make it harder for Brad to "call out her bullshit" (but he succeeds). A highlight is Hal Lindsay & his obsession over a discarded baby diaper.
Now, the Snobster takes on a stupidly depressing short involving some unlikable dork & rock music. Still a funny review.....
Lloyd the cat makes a much-needed cameo at the end! Great timing! KITTY!
If that's a bit of a bummer, how about the Bible-butt's (extremely lame and cheesy) answer to "Batman",
BIBLE MAN! The scriptural superhero
who can't do anything!!!!! Sort of like "
Batman-Meets-
Barney".....and staring Willie "Charles In Charge" Ames. Very goofy.....
Really! Bibleman's big superpowers seem to be "Pacing back & forth while moping' & "Praying to God to save his purple-spandex bacon". Dr. Insano-as-Dr. Decepto, however, is a fun villain! Insano's defense against "Bubba" involves stitching his butt closed.
