If you want to know who to thank for the raise of a disease that should have been a thing of the past in the United States, well here you go:

On a similar note whooping cough is back too.

Also the sad thing anti-vaxers are also pet owners, and refuse to get their animals vaccinated

If I remember correctly, there was also a spike in cases of pertussis and chicken pox in the San Juan Islands here. It's where a lot of upper-class people live, and some refuse to vaccinate their kids because they're convinced that living in a wealthy area of a first-world country makes you statistically immune to dangerous diseases.

I've just posted this to my Facebook wall. My dad is gonna flip his shit when he sees it.

I think its that decision to not vaccinate is your doctors.  See this is why we need mandatory vaccines (obvious medical exemptions) because we need herd immunity
