At first I thought this had to be a parody. The music just seems funny and the acting is so clammy. I know they don't pick award winning actors for political ads but this just seemed bad on purpose. It turns out it's probably real, since it was produced by Gary Bauer, a right-wing wacko.

Could have been worse, the ad could have been made by Herman Cain, then it would have been fucking insane.

Woman: "Our divorce will be finalized in a week."

It's amazing how specific the demographic is for this ad.  It is targeted almost explicitly at White, middle-class, socially conservative moderates who voted Obama in 2008.

I wonder how large that demographic is?
