Aw, aren't the babies cute when they whine. . . 
I saw a tumblr post that explained at length why people in the US who clamour for "revolution" don't know what they're talking about, and how our history has painted an unsafe view of revolution in general that doesn't exist as the norm; i.e. they think revolution is a glorious event that has a good chance of succeeding by 'the will of the people', when in reality the majority of revolutions fail or, if they do succeed, end up with something just as bad or worse. They also explained that the US succeeded due to special circumstances, such as being instigated while England was more worried about France, as well as France deciding to aid to the colonists.
Even after our successful revolution, there was about a decade or so where we were run under the
Articles of Confederation instead of the Constitution, which people seem to forget about.
