When Cenk Uygur tweeted this a couple of minutes ago, I thought it was going to be an article from The Onion.
It wasn't.

Yeah, but God's always been a whiny bitch anyway.
-
Well, I guess god is going to have to get over it.
-
Is he...is he serious?
-
Please tell me this is just a joke. Because I can not believe that anyone could be serious when saying that.

I don't know, I'm hoping that it's a joke or something, I'm expecting a punchline or something. However, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it turns out that the guy is being serious. Then again, I'm a bit confused on the article. From what I can gather, it looks like the AFA is going after climate change deniers because of the use of oil... So it sound like the religiously ignorant factions are going after each other now. If this keeps up, they'll eventually destroy each other and we could finally be rid of them... But that probably wouldn't happen.

Oh, I believe he's serious. Being rational doesn't exactly fit the job descriptipn of being a fundie fucktard.

Fundies always make out God to be really butthurt and helpless...

“I opened up a birthday present that I didn’t like, and I said it right out, ‘Oh, I don’t like those,’” the radio host recalled. “And it just crushed — and the person that gave me gift was there. You know, I just kind of blurted it out, ‘I don’t like those.’ And it just crushed that person. It was enormously insensitive of me to do that.”
“And you think, that’s kind of how we’re treating God when he’s given us these gifts of abundant and inexpensive and effective fuel sources,” Fischer added. “And we don’t thank him for it and we don’t use it.”

I remember a top comment from a video on the matter was about how back in biblical times did people use oil.

Ironically, this reminds me of those posters saying that doing something "bad" makes baby Jesus cry, and it has a picture of a white, blue-eyed baby Jesus..

Why The Material needs the defending, not the spiritual.

Evangelicals backing off on gay marriage, Pat Robertson attacking creationism, and now this? Are we colliding with the Mirror Universe or something?
-
Did they all get together and during a drunken night just fill a barrel with notes that have all the random agendas, then each randomly pick one and toss a goin to see if they are for or against it.
I bet Robertson would have been ecstatic when he got creationism. The problem with this theory is thathis cries of torment when losing the coin toss would have been heard across the continent.

Yeah, I totally remember that part in the bible where god was like, "hey dudes I left some shit for you to use but you have to dig it up yourselves and all."
-_-

This is one of the stupidest claims I've seen in ages. We're getting supersport quotes again, this is still worse.

LOLWUT.
Are we completely sure Bryan Fischer isn't supersport on drugs or something?
