Tool's album 'Lateralus' rearranged and tuned to 432hz. Most people tune their instruments (at least stringed ones) at 440Hz, though it's believed that the original frequency was 432Hz, back when instruments were relatively new inventions. The difference is rather subtle, but the lower frequency gives the chords and melodies (mostly the chords) a slightly dissonant tone, which may explain the supposed change to the 440Hz standard. I will be experimenting with this when I have a spare instrument to tune accordingly.
