A few things of note. Firstly, the Siberian Silver Fox is a domesticated color variant of Red Fox.
Domestication means that the animals have been significantly altered in appearance and behaviour from their wild counterparts.
In the case of the Domestic Cat, it has no wild counterparts. Domestic cats are their own species, descended from hybrids of 2 or 3 species of closely-related wildcats. Feral populations of domestic cats also show social behaviours that aren't present in those wildcats, and which actually give the domestic cats an advantage.
However it is believed that the wildcats began the process of domesticating themselves to take advantage of the food and safety opportunities that humans presented, which is probably at least part of why they still retain a lot of wild instincts.
