It's a series based on the film,
That's what I was afraid of.

I haven't seen Bob's Burgers, but the commercials didn't exactly give me any incentive to watch it.

Also, What Not To Wear seriously pissed me off (my sister used to watch it). The hosts will take someone who has their own unique, comfortable style, and force them to switch to the current fashion trends. God forbid someone dress in a manner that the professionals don't approve of.

And that five thousand dollars they give the person doesn't go very far when they're spending $800 bucks on one item.
And have you noticed how the vast majority of the people they target are women?

My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding.

Anger Management.  I haven't seen it and I already don't like it.
Wasn't that a movie?

It's a series based on the film, with god damn Charlie Sheen.

Yes.  Charlie... just... go away.

I was really interested in seeing Haunted Collector.  Then I caught a couple of episodes and that was enough for me.  I was expecting the guy to show different items with creepy stories.  Instead, it's just like Ghost Hunters except he seems to find an artifact that may cause the hauntings every single time.  They don't even go back to see if removing the item removed the haunting.  Even Ghost Hunters (which usually bores me) is more interesting than that!

I kinda like Underbelly. It's the closest our country will ever get to the awesomeness of boobs and violence.

The first season was barely watchable. Since then they've been milking an already half-dead franchise.

That's the thing that annoys me the most about What Not To Wear, but I hate clothing items that cost like $500 each. The most I've ever spent on any sort of clothing item/accessory is $200 on my Dooney & Bourke pocketbook, which I still use everyday, and have been for 4 years(I still get many compliments on it all the time). You can buy nice, "in-style" clothes at JCPenneys for anywhere from $10 -$30 each, and a lot of the time it's marked down so it's even cheaper.

$500 clothes...? 0_0 That's almost 3 months worth of food for me.

I don't like the way they berate people for wearing clothes that regular people wear. "OH GOD, A SWEATSHIRT, WHY WOULD YOU WEAR THAT IN PUBLIC?" Go whore yourself out on another Pantene commercial, you catty twat.

Also the haircut guy. I remember him saying a few times something like, "If you were coming to my salon as a regular customer, this would be costing you $260." Get the hell outta here with your $260. You're not weaving platinum threads into her scalp.

One of the things I hated about that show is that they would go through the person's entire inventory of clothes and start throwing away their stuff. I mean that person could have some kind of sentimental value to a piece of clothing or even like a piece and want to keep it but the hosts chastise them every time the person protests.

what i miss the most is the old Discovery, History, and the learning channels..   what happened to them still confuses the hell out of me. they once had great stuff and now they just produce shitty shows.  what ever happened to all those Cool shows about nature, space, science and history?  I still find dirty jobs and the myth busters interesting..   the channels i like to hang around now are Discovery Science, history 2 channel, Military channel, National geographic channel, national geographic wild channel, And any other channel that dispenses knowledge that is not shit.

Along with What Not To Wear, any similar makeover shows really rub me the wrong way. The woman (it's always a woman, after all) and her family all act as if her life is a million times better now that she's wearing makeup and has a few new stylish outfits. Because that's not shallow in the least, and her overall appearance is far more important than any personality that makes her enjoyable as a person.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?
