"Family Guy" is just sad these days and desperately needs to be cancelled.

I used to love to watch Family Guy, but it has really gone downhill, to me it started going downhill when they made Stewie into the biggest gay stereotype ever.

Also, Phineas and Ferb. I fail to see why so many teenagers are fascinated by this horseshit.

It's better than My Little Pony.

I believe the masterful John De Lancie and Lauren Faust would beg to differ.  As would Peter New, Tara Strong, Nicole Oliver, Tabitha St. Germain, Andrea Libman, Cathe Weseluck and a multitude of others.

So your argument is that because these folks are in the cast, it must be a good show?  Really?

Most of those folks will take any role they can, because money.  Tara Strong specifically has been in pretty much every cartoon I have watched for the last 10 years or so.  And as for John De Lancie...he's well known for a couple of roles (Q on TNG and I personally enjoyed him as the father on Breaking Bad).  Other than that, he's a bit player and character actor.

MLP may very well be a very good show.  But, even though I have a child within the demographic that it was originally targeted at, I refuse to allow it to be shown in my house because of the annoying fans who insist on shitting on everything else with their "fandom".

Aww, you shouldn't let a bunch of insufferable man-children on the internet spoil things for your kid.

Then again, I shouldn't ever be giving parenting advice under any circumstances. Ah well, make of this post what you will.

Meh. I don't have kids ether, but that seems like a perfectly reasonable point, regardless of your reproduction status.

It's not that I don't have kids, it's that I can't stand the little buggers.

Meh, she's got plenty of other marketing...err...shows that she can watch.  Plus, we try to limit her exposure to television itself (movies are different).  She gets about an hour and a half in the morning and in the evening.  Other than that, the TV belongs to us.

Fair enough. It really doesn't matter one way or another in the grand scheme of things.

The only thing I will say about the whole bronies vs. MLP-haters thing:

If you like a show, fine.  Post maybe one image every 2 weeks to non-fan-forums, so people aren't annoyed by the constant image macros.  If people mention how much they hate your favorite show, politely disagree, then let the matter drop and go on with your life.

If you don't like a show, fine.  Calmly state your dislike, and let the matter drop and go on with your life.

A TV show is not worth drama.

Days of Our Lives needs to die.  Really, most soap operas could die and I wouldn't mind.

Related note:  How many fucking times can they "kill off" someone like Stefano DiMera?  Can't the writers come up with a new fucking antagonist?  See, this is one of my problems with this genre of show.

Seriously, this list of deaths is almost comical!

Talk shows...like "The Talk," "The View" etc.

Dr. Oz. Is he a real doctor? He always seems to only talk about weight loss and nutrition.

Oz is a paid shill for several medical corporations.

He's always caught me more as a dietician than an actual doctor.

Incidentally, the head surgeon who did my dad's quad bypass after his heart attack was Dr. Ozdamir, aka: Dr. Oz.

I always thought he was a doctor much like Dr. Pepper or Dr. Suess.
