Tyler Perry needs to go away. Right now. Each and every one of his shows. Who watches him? Seriously, if anyone here knows someone who watches his tripe please tell me about that person, that target demographic.

My favorite bit of SAs review is how it is so awful that he's looking at anime girls.  They're like real girls except no one is being exploited.

Holy fuck, I can't believe I actually sat through that film. I heard that the Lifetime channel was bad but I could never imagine it being this bad.

Most of the shows I can't stand have been mentioned (along with some I admit to enjoying), so I won't rehash.

Instead, how about True Blood goes away? Like, forever? Seriously, there were some decent ideas and good moments to it early on (the beginning of the first episode still entertains me), but I really hate the whole "vampires as an analogy for an oppressed minority" trope. You can't equate vampires with gay people or ethnic minorities- they don't kill human beings to feed, for starters (gays and ethnic groups, I mean).

And to the writers- "morally ambiguous" or "multi-faceted" characters are great. But you seem to think that the way to create such characters is to make every last person on the show a selfish, sometimes murderous douchebag.

It was the one hope for the idea of the "heroic vampire" to not become a joke, and it failed.

I'm pretty sure the sole reason Tyler Perry is still in business is because there's pretty much nowhere else to get movies with black lead characters from.
