Let's not start flinging poo, folks.
The situation:
We had been overly careless on the Discord server since the beginning. A bit more personal info was shared than some people were comfortable with, it got into the hands of assholes who would like to doxx us. That was easy, since the channels were completely open.
A discussion was had. As the first measure, most of the people present were in favor of wiping the text channels clean so nobody else can snoop at the backlog in the future. A mod who had just come online decided to do it right away. This was an unfortunate decision, and everyone involved agrees that it was overly rash and shouldn't have been done - at the very least not so soon.
It was a mistake. We can't turn back time. We'll just have to live with the consequences, and be more careful in the future.
New channels will be created shortly, and you're welcome to come back.
