Honestly, even if he were pressured into picking a Tea Partier, he could have gone with Marco Rubio, who is both better with press and...slightly less insane.

I would almost support him if he chose Rubio over ryan.  ryan's big answers to saving the economy are to cut taxes for anyone who has money, increase taxes for those who have no money, and cancel medicare and medicaid.  Basically let's completely screw over the 99%!

Unless he rapes puppies, bans video games, or insults William Blake, Obama definitely has my vote again this year.

I thought Santorum would have been a no brainer, but Ryan!?! Wisconsin's not likely to go Romney, Romney himself is already the "economy" candidate, and Ryan's "Road to Prosperity" will probably cost Romney any hope he has of winning Florida. Not to mention as Rabbit said, Romney's main problem is that he's a rich elitist ass who can't connect with ordinary people, so the logical idea is to find a guy whose philosophy regarding the poor is "fuck 'em all" and make him your running mate......

I'm surprised he didn't go with Rubio. My guess is Rubio didn't want any part of that sinking ship. But that's just a guess.

So... some people are saying that he's the male Sarah Palin. As much as I hope that's the case, I doubt he's got Palin's incredible "Africa is a country" "Afghanistan is our neighbor" stupidity.
