Mockery of ideas you don't comprehend or understand is the surest mark of unintelligence.

It actually does. Except the Nazis were socialists in the same way North Korea is a democratic republic. In other words, in name only.

Maybe he meant that the Freeper kind of butchered it. The full name is Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, or the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

Before the "night of the long knives" the Nazi party still had some socialism in them but when Hitler and his cronies purged the party of all leftist (either arresting them or simply murdering them) along with the SA.

After that it was more like NATIONAL-socialist party.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:

Rapture Ready? The Blaze? tell me if I'm close.
The site is more geared toward conservatism than fanatical Christianity (though it does contain elements of that). Closer to The Blaze than RR.

World Net Daily? Drudge Report?
No.

Free Republic?
Winner :)

The point being: Can anyone fucking tell the difference anymore?

I sure can't.  It might be possible, but it's pretty fucking hard.
My friend's blog.  Check it out!

Yes because whether one should free load off the work of others without ever giving back and whether one is capable of having a child are totally the same thing.

Thanks girls on the right for totally reinforcing my prejudices about conservatives.

I really like the cartoon accusing all cartoonists of fascism. It really strikes me as a great symbol of modern 'conservatism'. No longer is conservatism a defence of tradition- now any long-standing policy maintained by the Democrats is just another sign of their Marxism/Muslim sympathy ect.

And if you point out that, say, McCulloch vs Maryland is centuries old, you're just 'blaming Bush' and should forget yesterday ever existed.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

Because only one person can ever come up with a solution to a problem, and once that person dies, the solution is GONE FOREVER.

Remind me again why I used to believe this stuff?
This.

Plus, how exactly does population control / family planning increase world hunger?

Not to mention, their definition of social problems is about 3,000 years out of date...

As for the cures for cancer and aids - well Jesus said you should rub yourself in oil and go to a TEMPLE and pray. I'll stick to modern medicine myself. Not to mention, why did God make those things so indiscriminate, arbitrary and hard to fight? It's almost as theotarded as Behe's wonderful irreduceably complex flaggellum, which not only is reduceably complex, but if you argue God especially designed it, why did he give it to the Ebola virus - not to mention, YTF did he design the Ebola virus in the first place? Nice going pal!

I was quite aware of the timestamp. Care to share your issue with this, it's not like the thread got necroed (although admittedly there's about 1000 posts I haven't seen, so if this got brought up every couple of months I could imagine it would be getting a little annoying). Was this the case? It's not like the topic's dead or obsolete.

I've never understood how this argument makes sense either. Somehow the anti-abortion crowd seems to ignore the fact it's much more likely that potential mass murderers, serial killers, pedophiles and sociopaths have been aborted than miracle cure workers.
