Ironically enough, it would be very improbable for a native speaker of Spanish to make that mistake, because the way we pronounce "José" does not rhyme with "O say". It's a mispronunciation common to native English speakers to add an [ɪ] sound at the end.

But there I go, expecting someone who would make this sort of cartoon to care the slightest iota about how a Spanish name is pronounced.
