There's just something about Sunset Shimmer's demon form that's strangely disturbing.
Before you die an agonizing, chainsaw-related death, you're gonna hear about the Hate Plague!
I'm accusing you of being stupid.
I dare to be stupid.

Good disturbing or bad disturbing?

Bearing in mind I've yet to watch it myself but I've never been one to mind spoilers.  Just waiting for a good link.

Well, /mlp/ has been trying to clean-up a camrip that some anon uploaded for a little while, this is the latest attempt (EDIT: damn, already taken down). It's cropped, with sharper audio and colours. just gotta wait for it to finish processing, and hope it doesn't get taken down quickly.

EDIT 2: Alright, try this one instead

Finally saw Equestria Girls. It was alright. I went in pretty neutral on the whole thing and basically got what I expected out of it. A movie length pony episode where the ponies are people. Wasn't good. Wasn't bad. Had some funny moments. Had some decent ideas. Had some lost opportunities. Had some dumb ideas.

The visual gags were all pretty funny for the most part, but I mean, this is FiM. If the visuals aren't funny, something's gone wrong. The problem that's been haunting the last couple of "big" episodes (like the Princess coronation thing) is still here, by which I mean it feels rushed at times. A lot of character development gets relegated to a line and a look and that's it.

Overall, I didn't get less than I expected out of it. It was worth seeing once.

What I've heard from the EqD crew has been mostly: "If it weren't for Dog Spike, this would be absolute shit"

I saw EG, and my main reaction to it was "It wasn't that bad".  Pretty much every event took place as a musical montage, and they had some exceedingly weak explanations for certain plot points ("No, the rest of you ponies can't accompany her BECAUSE REASONS").  But it wasn't eye-gougingly terrible, and I would be able to sit through it again, which is more than I can say for a couple episodes of the show.

If someone's relying on Dog Spike to save it, then they shouldn't bother saying "would be." Spike's almost in background territory in this film. They try and make him seem like he's still in the front with a few moments, but he's really just there to be Twilight's Navi once or twice and have a few gags. Honestly, I think Spike had one, really really good moment right at the end, and it wasn't even actually delivered by him, it just more about him.

I'm not in a rush to see it, don't get me wrong I love MLP, I'll see it eventually, I'm just not in the mood for rushing out to see it or risking a virus on my computer to see it.

I'm going to rent it from Redbox when it comes out.

Flufflepuff brightens everypony's day.  She's a little dose of happy in pony form.
