Though I don't do reddit, I've been following this story.  The more I read about it, the more I dislike Pao.  I mean, this is the same BS that happened with youtube.  Remember the google + disaster?  How they forced everyone to make an account with google + to make videos and comment?  (which they still haven't fixed despite numerous people being against it,  >:( )

Another example of some know it corporate drone taking over and making more changes than necessary.

But there's a chance that she was nothing more than a Machiavellian "bad scapegoat" who was made CEO to implement changes and take the fall for them.  While I'm happy to see her go, I want her actions undone and her followers removed from power.

I wish you the best of luck in whatever comes next. I just wish she could've stayed long enough to shut down the Philosophers of Rape reddit / subreddit.

As long as they're not actively harassing anybody with mountains of evidence or are particularly infamous, Reddit's backwards policy doesn't give shit. FPH just had the bad luck to be visible.

Hell, you barely get it in your average public high school.  Try drawing a stick figure battle as a kid and see how long it takes you to be branded little more than a terrorist.

I did that all the time as a kid, and nobody gave a flying fuck. The perks of growing up in a place that doesn't have regular school shootings, I suppose.

I did, too...nearly got expelled because I passed out in class after drawing it and someone scrawled a death threat on it.  Funny, because they didn't even ask me to write something myself and prove that the handwriting wasn't mine since I'd been labelled as "dangerous" since 4th grade.  Bout as funny as a gunshot to the testicles.
