Absolutely not, being fast tracked in courts anywhere is hardly ever a good thing, and considering the state of the Indian police and court system, we are more likely to see poor people roughed up by the police and convicted for rape on shoddy evidence.
Unfortunately they are contending with a system that pretty much doesn't investigate or prosecute rape cases at all, blames the victims for their rapes because of their clothing, job, or even the fact that they have a boyfriend, harasses women who report assaults, and so on. A woman just died of internal injuries after an iron rod was shoved inside her after a gang-rape, and THEN the police began investigating, after loud public outcry (this is probably what the photo is from). Not that fast-tracking is a good idea, but feelings are strong right now.
