Is it illegal to build a car? I know a lot of people re-build scrapped cars as a hobby.

You can (re)build cars all you like.  However, you can't drive 'em unless they've been inspected by a state-certified...inspection place for shit like basic god damned safety.  Oh, and you have a valid, up-to-date license.

That's a problem with a lot of things, people assume that any opinion is valid, even obviously stupid ones.

*snipped the NSFH part*

Please stop trying to spread that cancer outside its dedicated thread. Especially not by posting an image with at least one obvious, undefendable falsehood in the Awesome Protest Signs thread. Sure, #Gamergate was started by Adam Baldwin... and it was ALL ABOUT Zoe Quinn.

Most of the other "facts" are bullshit as well, even though those are more subjective matters (what the hell would be an "official IRC channel" for a Twitter hashtag?). The only points that I would accept as valid are the "started by Adam Baldwin" half of 2, 3, and maybe 4 if I feel generous and take "#Gamergate" to designate most people who ever tweeted on the hashtag rather than the drive behind its existence and popularity.

EDIT: If anyone wants to object to what I just wrote, please take it to the appropriate thread or in a PM. Or just keep it to yourself, that would be even nicer. I swore to myself that I would never intervene again on that issue, and until this point, I had followed through with it.

No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

Please tell me they were just coming back from hunting or something, and didn't want their weapons getting jacked out of their cars...

The following needs to become a thing; People just need to stand up, stare, and walk right back outside whenever a group of these open carry morons enter a restaurant. It's political demonstration street theatre, ruined by pissing on missing the point. It's like "exercising" your right to free speech by screaming about it in a movie theatre or at a funeral.

It's a perfect example of what is wrong in society here, lately - "I'm so right, that you are wrong, so fuck you. I got mine, and you can't have any". And by "any", they mean they don't care if they spoiled your lunch.

I sympathize completely. However, to use against us. Let me ask you a troll. On the one who pulled it. But here's the question: where do I think it might as well have stepped out of all people would cling to a layman.
