Context for those who may not have heard of them; the English Defence League is a purportedly anti-muslim organisation who are definately not neo-fascist pricks, no sir, not them, oh
those photos, no they were just waving at seagulls, definately not a nazi salute, the swastika tattoos? is that a swastika? they hadn't noticed. Their signs say things I agree with (anti-FGM, Islam oppresses women, anti-sharia law) but their words, violent actions (they formed from Casuals United, a soccer hooligan group) and facebook profiles full of nazi salutes and swastika flags show thoughts I disagree with. Their definition of Muslim is Asian, with the result that they often attack sikhs, hindus, buddists and atheists and their membership is entirely white (they claim to have black and asian members, but I was up close taking pictures of their demo and didn't see a single non-white face).
