I just saw the episode.

Best CMC episode ever.  Usually I cringe a little when a CMC episode airs (but then I watch it anyways because it's still good) but this time it was just fantastic.  The new writer did a great job.

If I was Ms. Harshwhinny (however you spell it) I would have slapped the shit out of Rainbow Dash.

She did so verbally towards the beginning at least.

Which is why Rainbow Dash pretty much had to entirely restrain herself the entire episode.

And then ending with a classical bit of hypocritical humor.

So, when the gold ring got flung into the fireplace, was I the only one half expecting elvish writing to appear on it?

I'm wondering why the heck Daring Do didn't just smash the ring on the ground and destroy it in the first place like she did at the end of the episode given how dangerous it could be. Although she did say she wanted to get into the temple, but the evil plan wouldn't have worked without the ring.

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

A bit of random speculation/head-cannon that came to me today:

Snowflake (a.k.a. Roid Rage) has the same disability as Scootaloo. Bodybuilding isn't just his special talent, it's the only way he's able to generate enough power to fly with his tiny wings.

He might even be related to Scoots, a cousin, perhaps. That's how the CMC not only know him, but are on good enough terms to get him to help them train, despite the fact that he was clearly not thrilled about it.

It seems that a My Little Brony user has a slightly different take.

How do you give Pinkie more superpowers than she already has?

True, though I will say that Pinkie Pie's reality-breaking powers are actually somewhat canon, because Rainbow Dash noticed her stop in mid-air and slowly dip into water.

This... this just allows her to break reality more steadily, which the Flash pretty much does anyways.  It's just that Pinkie Pie appears to be on a permanent sugar high, judging by the previews.
