I went to the Steam Show today, had some fun, but a few things got on my nerves. First of all, I hadn't slept yet because I'd just gotten home from working all night, so I was already teetering on the edge of a bad mood. Anyways, went to the place where people sell shit and there was this one guy who had this big box of old cameras and camera parts, as well as a box of records. He had other shit too, but that's what I was looking at. Now, most of the records were country and I don't care, but he had the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack, and it was $15 and I wanted it, so I grabbed it and held onto it while I was looking at cameras. So what do you think happens? Apparently the lady he bought the records from wanted two of them back, and guess which one was one of the two? That's right, Rocky fucking Horror. So I didn't get that, but he told me he'd make it up too me by lowering the price for me if I bought a camera, so I spent about an hour piecing together a decent camera and lens out of the parts that he had there, and I take the camera I'd put together (had to find one without scratches on the lens) up to the vendor guy and asked him how much it cost. Fifty bucks, that was almost as much money as I'd brought in the first place, so I didn't buy the record and I didn't buy a camera. There was no guarantee that it even worked, or that I'd be able to get film for it, even.
