I should clarify, the person I was talking about wasn't the one he threatened to rape, but the one he bashed in his hate feminism video. He just gave that person a verbal bashing (though as always, he did go too far with his insults). The one he not only threatened to rape but also tried to make her relive the attack did not deserve it, no matter how much of a troll they were. That makes TAA nothing more than a complete monster. The other element you’ll often see in these guys is rage at women’s sexuality: they get extremely upset at the idea of the object of their desires making independent sexual choices. Women are supposed to be either chaste and not being sexy at all, or they must submit to the man’s desires, servicing the man’s sexual needs by whatever methods the man dictates. A woman cheerfully flirting with her choice of a partner? She’s a hypocrite (because feminists are supposed to hate sex!) and she’s a ball-buster (because she’s not having sex with me!) and if ever she said “no” to a man, she must be demeaned and detested. Or possibly raped, just to teach her a lesson.
The only control issue here is who gets to control sex: do women get to be in complete charge of their own sexuality, or should they hand it over to the whims of men? And in their answers to that question, MRAs like this TJ jerk are fundamentally allying themselves with the patriarchal religions of Abraham.

While I think it is possible to go way off the deep end in response to someone who has been baiting you and baiting you for a while and say something totally out of control (I've done it before; I'm pretty sure everyone's done it before), nothing that was said to him warranted that kind of vitriol. They way he reacted was like using a nuclear bomb to get rid of an anthill- yeah, it takes out the problem but you also end up destroying everything else too, including people who might have been on your side at one point.

The problem is, this isn't really what happened. You can tell because he's made calculated (though not very smart or effective) moves to try & continue arguing his point while currying favor with his opposition. He obviously figured that if he could get the original person off of his back by offering her a half-assed apology behind closed doors, he could lose a lot of the pressure while still maintaining face. The trouble is, she saw right through that. But, in any case, this isn't really indicative of someone who "just blew up."

You can tell because he's made calculated (though not very smart or effective) moves to try & continue arguing his point while currying favor with his opposition. He obviously figured that if he could get the original person off of his back by offering her a half-assed apology behind closed doors, he could lose a lot of the pressure while still maintaining face. The trouble is, she saw right through that. But, in any case, this isn't really indicative of someone who "just blew up."
