I'm siding with Paragon here. You guys read WAAAAAAYYY too much into what he posted.
He's not saying that blacks aren't justified in their anger & rage. He's saying that some blacks take it to the next level and start becoming anti-white bigots.
Their hate & bigotry is a lot more understandable but it's still wrong to stoop to the white supremacists level.
"He who fights monsters...."
Now, there are some good aspects of "Black Power", embracing one's "blackness" and not seeing it as ugly or a curse......strength, self-determination, not seeing oneself as a weak kowtowed victim......unfortunately much of it comes with the baggage of hating ethnic integration and seeing all whites as "the enemy".....even rejecting potential allies due to their lack of melanin.
There's was no doubt a lot of good in the "Black Power" Movement but there were many that took it too far.
I think you guys are too hard on Paragon. Sure, he sometimes says dumb things. We all do, especially me.
Guys, quit arguing. Just drop the subject and relax.
I know the saying's cliché, but.....CAN'T WE JUST ALL GET ALONG?!
