This is pretty epic; first time cave lions have been found like this and cubs too!
I'm hoping that a decent amount of DNA can be extracted from these, personally. There's a longstanding controversy about the relationships of these to the American Lion (Panthera atrox), so that may clear things up a bit.

Aw man, when I first read the thread title I thought it meant they were alive and being studied in some zoo somewhere. Misunderstanding aside, this is an awesome scientific discovery.
