The American Revolution was fundamentally different from what a modern revolution in America would be. In the former, both sides had to square off against each other with guns that didn't work half the time and couldn't hit you from a football field away when they did. Today, the government can kill you from above from another state before you even realize they want to. Any revolution would have to be from within the government itself. I'm not sure I like that thought, but it is what it is.

By definition, being homosexual means having a sexual attraction to the same sex, but not the opposite.
To make that "Choice" if it indeed was one,  one would have to conciously make the decision to be attracted to the same-sex, conciously make the decision not to be attracted to the opposite sex, and somehow manage to convince their body to follow this, since the body has plenty of involuntary sexual responses (such as erections).

Furthermore, considering that most, if not all, gay people say that it's not a choice, they'd have to somehow forget that they ever made a choice in the first place.

I think a lot of the people who say that kind of thing genuinely don't think it through, and they'd know the "how do you know if you haven't tried?" argument is bullshit if they really thought about it.
