Not from me, you won't.  As far as I know (at this point), we won't be dedicating anything to Equestria Girls on EqD.

So I think I'm going to do a review of Rescue at Midnight Castle.  I watched it with poeticmind0189 a few nights ago, and I'd like to offer my thoughts.

In other news, I fucking adore my G1 Twilight avatar.  Oh sweet Celestia do I ever. <3

Yes i do.  I can see why some people are clamoring to see him as a S4 villain.  Now, I have two concerns about that enthusiasm.  First, can they clear copyright/trademark hurdles?  Secondly, how do they plan to transfer such a villain into the new gen.  The shows are really different.

I also like Scorpan.  He was an unwitting pawn who eventually had the courage to rebel when Spike's life was threatened.  Twice.

Edit:  So am I the only one getting sick of all the butthurt over the antrho spinoff Equestria Girls?

as to Equestria Girls... among the EqD staff like myself, it's either "Not going to bother with it", "Luna's Royal Ass, what have they done to Spike?!", or "I'll give it at least an episode or three."

I actually like Dog!Spike, I think it's an incredibly cute character design, and considering it takes place in an alternate universe I don't really have a problem, because it's not the same Spike.

I would have preferred if they made Spike Twilight's brother or something. Then again that whole DogSpike thing is pretty much rumour.
