It's cooled off a lot here in Arizona, and the weather is very nice and pleasant after all the summer heat.

Of course, everybody here is complaining about how cold it is. That is, everyone except a certain someone who spent three years in South Dakota followed by four months in Canada.

Grats. Too bad that both the temperature and the humidity are hitting the mid 80s here regularly still.

Ooh, that is quite harsh. The Deep South doesn't play around with the humidity.

Of course, we've got the opposite issue here.

Yeah. We hit 100 several times in a row here this summer, which, factored with our average ~60% humidity at the hottest part of the day in june/july/august equals a heat index of 129 °F (~54 °C). In other words, hot as fuck. Also remarkably difficult to breathe in.

After the Alberta badlands and now Arizona, it's probably going to feel like I'm breathing water when I return to Virginia over New Year's.

happy halloween everybody! tonight is the night i do something silly!

namely, go troll the bar where my sister works dressed in a fuzzy pikachu bodysuit. i will be extremely huggable, and will enjoy beer as much as candy.

(re: the weather. it's just right for me at the moment, around 20 c° daytime and 12 c° at night. much better from the near 40's i got during the summer.)

Well, I was in the lobby at work, getting dishes to wash, absent-mindedly humming the MST3K theme, when this (fairly attractive) female customer about the same age as me started singing along to it. I paused, and turned to look at her in mild astonishment, when she scribbles down something on a napkin and slips it into my pocket. Turns out, its her number (duh, the fuck else would it be?). So that's a thing.
