Keep in mind, this was their actual reaction.  When Al-Qaeda thinks you're going too far, you know you're awful.

As is so often referenced, Even Evil Has Standards.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

I think perhaps one difference between Al Qaeda and ISIS (correct me if I'm wrong about this) is that Al Qaeda views themselves as upholding morality and therefore being on the side of good, even if they're "unpopular".  (As do many terrorists - Al Qaeda is not unique in this regard, nor should we be sympathetic towards them)

ISIS, on the other hand, seems more interested in basically subjugating everyone.  They're less terrorists, and more wannabe tyrants.
Mockery of ideas you don't comprehend or understand is the surest mark of unintelligence.

Even the worst union is better than the best Walmart.

And even then he has to rely on an army of robots and a brain damaged mute.

I'll have you know that my characters were usually quite eloquent with their speech. Or are you just complaining because the players lines aren't voiced?
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:

Why yes, I do still need a new laptop.

Also, this Guardian cartoon is almost completely straightforward. Exciting, isn't it?

Methinks I've seen that before.  But...my brain stopped recognizing things after I finished it.  Everything is now suddenly VERY flammable.

It's too bad that our medical laws depend so heavily on the institution of marriage. Hopefully the laws concerning powers of attorney will change as marriage becomes less popular as a custom.

If I'm such a good person why didn't they accept my health insurance that would have saved her life?

Because we live in a third-world shithole of a healthcare system where insurance companies can decide who lives and who dies. Any attempts to fix this problem (the simplest of which would be expanding Medicare eligibility to every citizen) are met with cries of "eeeeebil socializum!"

I always find it hilarious that senior citizens, or people on the verge of being senior citizens, scream bloody murder both at the suggestion of single-payer healthcare and at the suggestion of taking away their Medicare coverage.

It doesn't concern you, Sister, that kind of absolutist view of the universe? Right and wrong determined solely by a single all-knowing, all powerful being whose judgment cannot be questioned and in whose name the most horrendous acts can be sanctioned without appeal?

Its okay, I found a homeopathic remedy for Old Asshole Syndrome.  Unfortunately, the FDA won't let me release it to the public...something about arsenic being poisonous.
