I'm beginning to think that "Best Political Cartoons" is an oxymoron.

Depends on what you mean by best. From my experience it seems to be cartoons that the majority of the board agree with.

Obviously

Also, One summer is not evidence of a climate trend that occurs over the course of hundreds to thousands of years

True. One record season is a blip on the charts. But when it's one in a long string of record breaking temps on a record stretching back for over a hundred years then it's time to start thinking "You know, there might be some merit to this whole Global Warming idea..."

True also I think the whole term global warming is bull anyways where climate change fits better cause you see people say it's cold therefore it's not real when in reality warmer arctic temps can cause colder winters

An actual (and hilarious) political cartoon from 1912.  Hidden due to size.

For me the best political cartoons are the ones that make a logical point without labeling everything.

Possibly, how often do you see such cartoons with a view point that forum members would disagree with.

I'll give $50 to anyone who can find a conservative political cartoon that doesn't translate into Obama=SOCIALIST MONSTER FROM HELL, or anything that may not come across as the pot calling the kettle black.

K money where your mouth is.  Find us a right-wing political cartoon that doesn't paint Obama as some scary boogyman.
