Never played it, all I've ever heard  about it was bitching from people who read the original source material and that it's a god of war clone.

That's kinda what Yahtzee said. I can't really take him seriously though, he's too hard on a lot of stuff.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

It's not.  It's a shitty ass God of War clone that doesn't even try to be anything but.

I played maybe two levels of Dante's Inferno. It really is a God of War clone, one that tries to attract people more through its shock value than good gameplay. It's one of those games where you start to think that all the graphic violence, nudity, and body horror are there just for their own sake instead of actually having a real purpose.
Still can't think of a signature a year later.

Anyone played Dante's Inferno? I have no clue if it's supposed to be decent.

It's... lackluster. I rented it from GameFly and only played it for a couple of hours. If you like mindless hack and slash action RPGs without the puzzles like in God of War then it's your game. Emphasis on mindless because you won't give two shits about the story. I'd suggest you get God of War or Devil May Cry instead. Or Dark Souls. Or Darksiders. All of which are hack and slash.

I thought Dark Souls was too tactical to be considered a hack 'n' slash, considering that hack 'n' slash mentality is the best way to see the "You Died" screen over and over again.

Though, unless you want to spend your whole time playing as a zombie, I wouldn't recommend Dark Souls for those who don't fancy PvP.  Because, not only is there PvP, but it is, from what I've gathered, completely non-consensual.  If somebody invades your world, prepare to defend yourself, or promptly shut off your 360.

One game I can definitely recommend for 360, though, is Red Faction: Guerrilla.  Yeah, the story is a bit of an excuse to blow shit the fuck up, but that's always been Red Faction's main draw, and Guerrilla does it better than any other game in the series.  Armageddon, in comparison, was quite disappointing.

EA got in hot water with Dante's lust marketing campaign.  The gay couple who won that ordered their prize money be used for EA to buy sensitivity training.

What's this about a marketing campaign?  And the gay couple won what?

Im assuming gay people went to a circle of hell in the game, which also happens in the book, then a gay people decided to be a pair of tools and bitch about it.
