Today I learned that butter tarts aren't common outside of Canada, American cream soda is brown, and American pumpkin pie is typically a weird, bland custard thing without all of the wonderful spices.

New things learned: Apparently American Corn Pops are flat and taste more like corn than the awesome balls of sugary-ness we have up here, they don't have the Burger Family at A&W, Aero bars, or Swiss Chalets, and don't use the term "duo-tang".

I've seen Aero Bars, and I've eaten spiced pumpkin pie as well as the custard-ish pumpkin pie.  I tell you what I like better than pumpkin pie though:  butternut squash pie.  That stuff is good.

Big Red is awesome... I want some right now, but alas it is 1:33 in the AM and I have none.  To me it doesn't taste so much like cream soda as it does liquid bubble gum.

Man, I have people hounding me for my cooking recipes... In the last few days I've had 3 people demand my white chocolate raspberry cheesecake recipe, 2 my key lime cheesecake, and 3 my chocolate chip cookies (a total of 7 different peeps).

If law school doesn't work out, bakeries, here I come.
