99.9% of people who know who John Barrowman is probably think, "hey, that guy really looks like John Barrowman", and move on.

It's like those stories about celebrities who enter lookalike competitions as themselves and win third place.

I choose to assume that "bag" is a euphemism.

I choose to assume that "bag" is a euphemism.
I shall expand that assumption to include "tupperware" as well.

Can we start suspecting that it isn't "his" "bag" where the "lubed" "tupperware" is?

(also, I love how the faces of our avatars look when commenting on this: Mlle is either slightly terrified or in pain, my avatar clearly likes this subject and would like to see it while Chit is just horrified.)

I just received an essay from a student that includes these two sentences in the same paragraph.

"America destroyed Japans xenophobia."
"(Europeans) tried to eliminate the tribal African way of life, not that it doesn't need to be."
RIP Tony Benn (1925 - 2014)

"There is no moral difference between a stealth bomber and a suicide bomber. Both kill innocent people for political reasons."

“If we can find the money to kill people, we can find the money to help people.”

"I'm not frightened about death. I don't know why, but I just feel that at a certain moment your switch is switched off, and that's it. And you can't do anything about it."

Hypothesis: Most of the world's catchiest tunes were either arranged by Abba or Boney M., or sample songs written by them.

Americans, does your Chinese food actually come in those little square-ish, single-serving boxes you always see in movies?

If you order out, then yes.
Excuse me, sir, do you have a minute to talk about your lord and savior, Hannibal Barca?
