I don't think UP meant VW could sue over the veracity of the Hitler connection, nor do I think he was questioning the veracity of that connection (he never said anything to indicate that so I'm a bit confused as to why you think that) I think he meant more that they could - or at least should be able to - sue over the whole "unauthorised use of your company's name and logo for racist propeganda" issue.  I'm pretty sure a good lawyer could find something to sue for in that picture.

Whether or not they'd win is another matter of course.

Tell me, how many vets work at fast food restaurants? Answer; a lot more than you'd think, because vets just don't get hired at their military specialties, since most of those don't translate readily to the civilian work place.

Also, WTF does getting shot at in a war zone, when you signed up and got trained and armed for that as a soldier, have to do with companies paying a living wage?

And also, lot of fast food workers have been threatened at gunpoint because those restaurants make a lot of small cash sales, and the crooks know their tills are full of fucking cash. So, they DO get shot at, and they don't even have a weapon or training to defend themselves with.
