I think the problem is the same one most churches with this incident have; the people in charge aren't taking responsibility and holding the guy responsible. They're just saying, "oops, he made a mistake, no big deal," as if he had mispelled 'cult' on a sign.
Also, I sincerely doubt it was a case of, "Oh hello little girl, oops what happened to my pants?" The guy knew what he was doing, and now he's just using the church to hide out.
They want to keep kids away from the church? Whatever, but the way they're trying to brush this under the carpet is disgusting, and I hope the church eventually suffers for it.
