Russia is pretending to be the victim here even though it is clear that the government had authorized the use of doping.

...Funnily enough there was an interview from a Russian athlete who complained about this and talked of how this is an unfair as the international organization hunts for cheaters. Meanwhile the Russian anti-doping officials are much nicer people as they actually help the athletes and tell them how not to get caught.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
