It annoys me when people refer to the United States as "America."  A lot.

What a coincidence.  It annoys me when people get upset over that.

I get annoyed over second-order annoyance.

It turns out that, while "meta annoyance" is relatively common, I can only find one other instance of someone using the phrase "second-order annoyance" to refer to being annoyed at someone else being annoyed about something (Peter Woods, Divided School). This is your useless fact for today.

At least i was under the delusion of being funny with the Doge posts.

...Really? Not sure how anyone could think doge posts are funny, but I guess different people have different senses of humour and all that.

For instance you have a good sense in humor, whereas I have a shit one.

Avatar size requirements and how much they vary from site to site. It either has to be a maximum of 30x30 pixels or a minimum of 100x100 pixels and in some places even if you upload one that's exactly the minimum it still makes you crop it, and if it's too big you have to manually resize it, because there's apparently no way for them to just shrink it down automatically... and yeah, I know this is probably the most first world of first world problems, but eh.

Honestly, the image resolution requirements don't bother me near as much as image file size requirements.  Even worse when they're paired illogically with resolution requirements.  Like, you can have an image up to 100x100 on Forum X, but the image's file size can't exceed 10kB.  As an example, the only way to get my Garrett avatar (which is in PNG format, my default format) down to below 10kB is to shrink it to 65x65 pixels.  I just...I don't even know, do they expect our avatars to be stick figures?

When youtube music videos (videos that simply play an mp3, not actual "music videos") have long spans of silence at the end of the video.  It can range from several seconds to whole minutes of silence.

And on a similar note, people who place intros and/or outros in music/lyric videos they upload, especially if said intros/outros feature music that's not the subject of the video.

I second this. However, I do believe the extra stuff on the ends of music/lyric videos are meant to beat any copyright issues that may force them to take down the videos, but yeah, they are pretty annoying.  What is also annoying is when you click on a video and then oh look an advertisement before the video, particularly the ones you can't skip after five seconds. Grrr, that was what I go on Youtube for to avoid.
